I heard on the news last week that in Israel there are a lot of cases where married women are asking for divorce because their husband is spending too much time watching mature content (internet, DVD, VOD, etc.).
I find it hard to believe that these women would go to extreme measures like divorcing their husband, just because he needs visual stimulation in order to sustain their marriage.
Don't they realize that they are not the spring chickens like when they got married, and that marriage life does put a lot of pressure and stress on both husband and wife, and if their husbands needs to ease the stress a little bit, they should be more understanding of their needs.
It is not like he is being unfaithful with another woman (well, some men would), and if watching mature content helps him to keep his sexual appetite for a little bit longer, then she also get the benefits in bed.
Do they prefer that he takes dangerous chemical pills like Viagra, instead of getting erection with visual stimulation?
On the other hand, husbands don't go to extreme measures because their wives like reading all those romantic novels or watching romantic TV series that last for ages. Apparently this gives them mental stimulation and what is the harm in this?
If you are single, then count your blessings that there is no one looking over your shoulder and getting upset about what you watch.

Because the thread is about "mature content Widow", which inherently assumes that these women don't watch mature content. But I will add it if it makes you happy.:)
 
Well, I guess the fact is that women object to anything man does other than what she wants or thinks is useful for the house or the family. For instance, my wife would not say anything if I was spending hours and hours in the garden weeding and pruning roses and shit, or if I was spending 2 hours a day wiping and cleaning dust in the house. But the minute man does anything with a computer or TV (other than booking a family holiday or downloading the latest blueberry pie recipe), for instance watching PL football they get upset. I guess you should rename the thread Monitor Widows :)

I guess the sexual content viewed by the men does upset some women, but I would dare to bet that if many of these mature content widows would spend a little bit more time shagging their husbands, and I mean the real deal not simply going through the motions then their poor hubbies would not need to spend so much time on the net.

I voted on the poll, but I would need an option:

Married, don't watch mature content but wife is still upset because I watch football more than one hour a day :)
 
The option 'I watch mature content as the wife changed from spring chicken into turkey giblets years ago'.
 
Not to quibble (well not too much) but why 1 hour a day? There are people (ahem) who watch mature content on an occasional basis a couple or more times a week and may then go a week or more without looking at anything.

Or are you saying that by definition they are not the people likely to be waiting in the divorce courts?

As there are many possible options, I wanted to give members the most likely scenarios.
The occasional watchers could also do it at work and not at home and the wife is not aware of his actions. At any rate, I can safely assume that they are not candidates for divorce.

I've made some observations and found out that women generaly prefer more "glamourous" mature content, with more kissing and romantique dialogs. Guys more like big butt'n'tits and close up shots :)

I once asked somebody's fiance if they could possibly record a show one evening as my VCR was on the blink. They then spent some time looking for an empty tape, but in the meantime found a large amount of mature content within my friends collection (actually almost all of it was TV1000 late night stuff).
 
So that would be your friend's ex-fiancée then?

Or was she enlightened about it all?

Who knows the women's reasons for sure. Could be they are concerned that women who partake in mature content are being treated in such a degrading way (in their eyes, 'cos this is open for quite a large, or mass debate ) and worry about how the husband views them, or it could be that they are worried that money spent on mature content could be better spent elsewhere - not that I'm sterotying or anything

Or maybe, as you imply, they are jealous. Or possibly they believe, as some on here may advocate, that thinking about s_x with someone else is an act of infidelity.

"Easy c u m, easy go" would seem to be an appropriate summary for such divorces.

I don't believe in this degrading nonsense.
The gorgeous models from Europe, go for auditions out of their own will. They have the body that any woman would die for (also men).
They get the job and start shooting the films and get paid good money.
What is so degrading about that?
Maybe they don't have the good fortune of being able to go to college or university and get a degree so they can have a better career in their lives, but they have their beautiful bodies as their best assets and they make the most out of it, for at least the lifespan of a mature content actress which is one or two years at most, as there is always more models going to auditions.
I tell you what is degrading in my eyes:
It is women who lead men (in particular their husbands) to believe that they are doing something wrong by watching mature content and lead them to sneak on occasions to watch it on their TV or the internet.
Instead, those husbands should have a good long chat with their wives, tell them that they are just normal people and there is nothing sick about their behavior.
As for money spent on mature content, it is a small fraction of how much money women spend on their own clothing, shoes, hairdos, beauty stuff, mobile cost (god, they can talk for ever), etc.

If anybody would like to start a thread for a debate, then please do so. Just give us a link.

LOL....How about the really hairy sweaty armpits with smelly dew drops dangling on the end of each hair ! Has to be your biggest nightmare with those in range when the Milf is riding on top! :D
