Just Sharing This MBC to badr 7 tonight

Getting 7.6db in West London with a 1.5 M Dish.
5/6 FEC makes it a little harder to keep a good signal.
Not much rain fade headroom and the signal is a little stronger in the mornings.
Around 8.2db on a clear weather day.

MBC has left Badr-4 no signals now from transponder 11919 H 27500 no other signals from MBC transponders received now from 26 east here in the East of England with a 100cm dish.

I would click on a thumbs down icon but there isn't one! [emoji20]

Got a reasonable signal here too on the 1.2CM. Picture breaking up a little but true the strongest I have seen it too .....

Nothing here on 12284 V 27500 Badr-5 West African beam (If the beam moves to the right by a few degrees I would get it with a 100cm)

I am toying with the idea of a 125cm Gibertini OP125L motorised for 36 east to 36 west
to replace the 88cm mesh dish with a lower profile say 3 feet from ground level behind my fence to cut down the wind resistance 1 will also have to remove the mini dish from this pole & probably set the 88cm up as a fixed dish set up for 28E+19E+13E +5E.

Re thinking dish size for these transmissions in my location is probably going to need a 240cm dish
So I will put it on hold for now,

Just cleaned the 88cm mesh with a cloth & WD40 looks as good as new for 18 years old that ain't bad no rust at all:),
26 east reception with the 88cm:- 9 transponders = 71 x tv

It will be interesting to see what I can receive if & when Badr-4 moves from this location.

@FORKS is in West London and is receiving this TP with 7.6dB on his 1.5m Gibby dish. You're not much further...

I see what you mean 88cm dish.

Strong again this morning at over 10dB - looks like mornings are better for this.

Other transponders on that I used to receive from Badr-4 that may have migrated to 5/6/7
Maybe other members in the East of England can check this please.
