Still not convinced anything has happened yet!

Referring to the other thread re: Badr 7 tests:- va 227 badr 7 26e

nothing seemed to show here on any of the mentioned frequencies and we def should be able to receive them in this location according to footprints.

¿Scan yesterday and today show no real differences so has the change taken place?..........as:-

If it has changed over to Badr-7 then the signal here has improved on my 88cm mesh dish + TM5302HD set up.

Active transponders received from 26 east with my 88cm dish set up this is what I normally receive but the signals are a bit stronger today.

I lost 11149 H 27500 some time ago despite feed back that some members further North than me are able to get this transponder it still alludes my set up o_O
 
Very strange. I did have 12149H here all OK. Channels are loaded in receiver. Gone now. Not sure what the explanation may be?
 
It looks like the footprint for 12149 H 27500 is less favorable from Essex to Berkshire maybe this is Badr-7 ?

I am getting 15dB from 12149H (on the 1.8m) - I really doubt this is Badr-7 if the maps are to be believed.

12149 here, from Badr 4, is more or less showing the same dB level today as 15 months ago.

Wonder if your U.K. reception of Badr 4 is now affected by the Astra 2F frequency of 12149 H 27500, both now have a FEC of 5/6. In March 2015 the 2F 12149 was using a FEC of 2/3 but in June 2015 was using 5/6..........Astra uses DVB-S and Badr 4 using DVB-S2.

Still convinced at the mo that Badr 7 is not being used for replacement transmission.

Using a 1.2m for the Badr reception.

I'm getting 15.4 dB on the 1.2 m now. Until I checked , due to this thread , I had nothing! The Xtrend had it as 30000 not 27500 :-ohcrap

Hi Brian..................yes a scan in September 2015 still showed it as using the SR 0f 30000......do not know exactly when it changed to 27500.
