Wanted Meter

Any budget in mind?
 
If you are interested: I have a Promax Prolink 3+ and Rover DM14C to give .
 
I don't have anything to offer, I was trying to find out whether you had an upper (or lower) limit for what you would want to pay for anyone who had one available.
 
For beginning i only need dvbs2 to measure for my business with satellite dish installation w2 is on focus. For meter this range maximum price is 750euro because that is the price for rover easy touch tab 4, for optic and full option some instrument from unaohm are look great
 
Are either of the meters that Eusebius Punz posted about of interest to you?
 
Yes he have great instruments, rover st2 for dvbs2 measuring, promax and rover old heavy but the have realtime spectar analyser with power meter. I must calculate carefully because new rover easy touch hd is 750euro... :)
 
You havent answered the previous questions so nobody really knows what you want, or at what price.

Are you doing mainly ground work or up a ladder most of the time ?
Fixed/motorised ?
Just satellite or terrestrial/cable ?
 
I do mainly instalation daily i set up 3 dish instalation.

Ande there are no rules for installation some are very easy some are dangerous...i use satlook microg2+ but i need other meter to use for better instalation tuning and possibility of meter .

For used meter is not very big budget . That depends on offering. Maybe 1000euro with shipping

This is in general a hobbyist forum, as such hobbyists do not have that kind of money to spend on a meter, there are a few members that are professional installers however, they may not be wanting to change meters at the moment.
 
There's quite a big gap in price between the quasi professional meters and the low range professional meters, then an even larger gap between the low range and top. The only reason I'd sell my Promax Ranger HD plus would be if it no longer did what was required, or there was a significant development in the newer models, it's probably similar for other installers, so don't expect to see a flood of secondhand ones, or units around the £1,000 mark.
