MGM HD Free Weekend 1st-3rd April 2011, SKY Channel 313.

So its not actually going to be free at all - it'll be ftv or minimum subscription level.
 
that's what I thought as it wont go out unscrambled surely, so free to people who got a sub to some channels just like what espn did to tempt new subscribers.
 
I think you're actually both wrong.

"Free to anyone with a Sky HD box" - no subscription required. The channel will be unencrypted for the duration of the weekend, so all you need is the equipment to receive it,
 
It actually says "For a whole weekend MGM HD are offering all SKY customers who have a HD+ box to a free taste of specially selected movies" which would imply that you need to have a subscription card.
