Fortunately I have other, and better, devices to access all the main catch-up services. The HDR never did progress beyond iPlayer and ITV Player so as soon as I had better I stopped using the HDR.

Does the ITV Player still even work on the HDR?

Interesting that my TV isn't listed (Sony KDL-40EX723) even though it uses that MHEG player judging from the screenshot. It could be this version was never sold in the UK so they haven't listed it but it can (for now) load the BBC iPlayer when it gets a UK IP. Not too worried though as I don't use the "smart" features any more and it's not even plugged into the network these days...

Only ever used these players on my Foxsat HDR for testing purposes.

Can't get used to TV On Demand, even though my Interweb Connection is good enough for it these days.

I do use BBC Radio Player quite a bit on my Android Tablet, though. It's very good indeed.

Agree Paul, I found this box a complete pain, with live pause suddenly ending when the live programme finished, so unless you set record you missed the end of the prgramme you paused. Took an age to delete off the HDD. Not a fan of Humax stuff.
