Microsoft asks redundant workers for a refund

Accounting blunder sends sacked workers home with an overpayment, but Microsoft wants its money back.

The web site TechCrunch has managed to get hold of a copy of a letter sent out by the firm to a number of laid off workers, and has printed it in full. The letter was sent out to a selection of workers from a recently announced 1,400 redundancies.

Would you give it back? I think I would probably say Ha ha, tough s**t if I were in that position. At least until the threatened me with the suited men.

If I was a former employee of Micro$oft, and I received such a letter, I'd tell them to go shove it somewhere the sun doesn't shine, after all, they make billions in profit every day, so why bother over potentially a few thousand?
