Those who install dishes for 28e which make of lnbs have you found most reliable or does it not matter as they are cheap to buy ?

I need to replace my quad lnb with a new one and would prefer to try another make than zindwell

Do Mti make them for minidishes or am I better with a 40mm lnb and adapter ?
 
Zinwell are good and are pretty much the latest quads available. Not had the best results with MTi due to compatibility problems with some receivers.
 
I think the cold weather last year has messed it up or something as its been throwing up no signal errors on my recordings, the receiver is not the issue.

how long do lnbs last anyway ?

Are Mti lnbs not compatible with the Amstrad receivers $ky now use ?
 
Some of the aforementioned LNb's I've used had issues when installing freesat receivers. This may of been a faulty batch, nevertheless, I stay pretty much clear.
