What is the minimum height needed for an 13ft offset dish to reach low elevations like 1-2degrees? We can keep the dish at 6.5ft and dish wont touch the ground. But the LNB feed rod which is around 8ft and it is on the bottom side of the dish. Dish is Vsat one and its offset is around 21degrees. Even if the elevation for a satellite is 21 degrees dish has to be kept at 0 degrees. So this LNB rod is going to touch the ground once the dish's elevation goes below this.
