missing channels

hi installed a motorised system today 1 meter dish tecohmate tms 1500ci receiver .all whet well only prob is on hotbird .seem to be missing some cannels s_x view 12.360 h 27500 which we have a joker cam for also zik and xxl there could be some more missing but they are the ones that we noticed . tried three channel searches and they are not there . i tried when i got home on my sat and they loaded up fine.the system is brand new the only mod i did was patch it for tps multivision which worked fine.any ideas any one.
 
do u think if i do a factory reset and then another search it will find the missing channels
 
tried a data transfer from my receiver to the receiver with missing channels and it kind of worked back to front and replaced my channels with his so now we have 2 recievers with missing cannels. so i been playing with my reciever ie auto search and blind search and manualy editing and it wont find the missing channels so i tried a factory reset did a channel search and all channels are there.so as no one is talking to me i think i will try a reset on the other receiver and hope it works
 
LOL, sorry missed the thread, as i don't normally look in the Transponders and channels section for problems. Have moved this to the Digital Systems section.

Very often new found channels are added to the end of the list and many people do not notice them. :)
 
just noticed the factory reset that i done on my receiver has cleared all the pre stored satellites so i dont think i will trie it on the other one. think i do the data transfer again the right way round.and see if i can add my channels to his receiver.ps sorry for posting in wrong section .
 
It's one of those topics which can be posted in a couple of sections, but this section tends to see a little more action. :)
 
did a channel download from reciever to reciever the right way round and he has his missing s_x view channels.think u are right about not having the right software installed but its sorted now many thanks.
