Advice Needed missing frequencies 30W

My Satellite Setup
offset Triax TD110.
My Location
Netherlands
My new offset Triax TD110 is on Hispasat, elevation 22°.0. Much good info on this site. But everything is fixed by manufacturer: angle and length of arm, angle of LNB, focus, focal length. Finetuning elevation by degree is impossible: loosen bolts, and dish’s elevation slides UP by its weight. Adjusting declination: loosen bolts a little and with force dish jerks 5° sideways… Loosen more and dish slides down the pole… How to solve these problems?

Tuner and (HD-)screen put on roof. Dishpointer shows line parallel to edge of my flat roof, so finding satellite was easy. Got some freq., but not all, so I searched with other LNB at end of arm and got a signal on most freq…… in top right corner of dish!? What is wrong?

Readjusted dish with great difficulty, now get some 345 (mostly scrambled) stations (99% quality) on 21 freq., but NEVER a signal on 10730H27500, 10770H30000, 11422V5000, 11491V7522, 11497H7884, 12226V27500, 12303V27500, 12380V27500. What is wrong?

Could you show some picture of your dish?
 
Adjusting Triax dishes can be a hit and miss affair. As you have found, sliding the dish through its clamp to achieve the correct elevation needs patience and if available an extra pair of hands to keep the dish aligned correctly in its clamp while adjusting.Try to hold the dish only at the bottom when moving it up or down through the clamp, with the clamp screws just tight enough to allow just enough movement of the dish.

A poor design, but once set up correctly the Triax isn't a bad dish for the money.
 
I can't see an 11497 H 7884 listed on Hispasat, 30W.

The other frequencies shouldn't be a problem, providing you are aligned to 30W and not some other satellite.
Can you please post details of your receiver, and some channels you have managed to scan in.
The Movistar+ channels, on 12226 V 27500, 12303 V 27500, and 12380 V 27500 are all in DVB -S.
 
DVBDream sees nothing on that transponder here.
Not much with Crazyscan either.

Even with multistream equipment these two transponders 11491/11496 (Asturias and Castila-La Mancha TV) are pretty weak. A combination of high FEC and being on 30W-4/1D rather than the stronger 30W-5/1E I guess.

Looks like you're locking them fine on a 100cm dish! I can't get them at all on my 80cm, they seem just below the threshold to lock.

The HD tuner is Redline TS40Plus. Examined all freq found and missing (on Hispasat): some are DVB-S2, but 10917V7500 has 99% quality, so S2 is not the problem. If the dish picks up 99% strength on some freq. should I not get ALL freq of that satellite? Why not?
Will fit something when no rain expected and tie a cable between a chimney and dish to fine-tune its horizontal position. As I am alone, I have to put tuner, etc on the roof to judge signal.
Extra question: how do you unscramble Spanish stations?
 
The pole happens to be 45mm diameter. NO such pipe clamp at large hardware store; only different of 40 or 50mm; had same idea with axle clamps, but I don’t have 45mm….

I can look for some in the corners of the garage. If I find than you can get it for one beer and price of shipping. :rolleyes:

That looks like one of the smallest satellite receivers I've seen, the Redline TS40Plus, judging by the pictures.

Providing you are on the correct satellite there is no reason why you can't scan in those channels, and because they include both Horizontal, and Vertical polarity channels, and a wide range, I can't think of what the problem can be.
If it were just Vertical, or Horizontal, channels I would consider the LNB, or even the skew.
If it were just high frequencies I would consider the LNB settings.

Can you please post some of the channels, you have scanned in, and can view, along with their signal quality readings.

N.B. (see picture) LNB on tripod pointing to top right of dish, also giving freq 10730, 12303, 12380, now NOT found after adjustment dish.

That LNB looks strange, in your picture.
Are you sending the cable directly to your receiver or using a Diseqc switch set up?
