I finally had the chance to go to the mobile company support center. It was crowded, noisy and the people working there seemed to enjoy talking to each other instead of helping customers efficiently. When it was my turn, I asked the assistant to get rid of the hidden caller ID. It took her about 15 minutes to do the job and I could see my number on her mobile. So that was great. But only this morning I had problem getting an important SMS from my bank and I asked her to sort this out. She tried and then told me the problem is with your phone. You can leave it with us and it will cost you about 30 Pounds. I refused and left. Then asked a friend to send me SMS and I got his message. Then tried the bank again to send me a message but I didn't get it. I am really p***ed o** with these small gadgets. It is as if I don't exist unless I have a mobile number. My bank wouldn't let me get into my account without a mobile number. Has the world gone crazy or what? I wasted the whole day trying to sort out these little problems and now it looks like I might need to buy a new mobile. There is no way I am going to pay them 30 Pounds for a problem most probably caused by them My mobile is Samsung S III I hardly use it only in case of emergencies and now they tell me I have a problem with it? Would it help if I do a software update or reinstall? After all the Message App for SMS is part of the Android Anybody had a similar problem? Thanks.
