I've seen a few palm tree masts in South Africa. In the UK they seem to hide a fair few on lampposts now.

In Finland they can't hide them easily in the countryside as they are usually huge high pylon like towers painted red and white with red lights on them covering large areas. In built up areas they seem to just stick the antennas on the sides of buildings. Not sure I'd want to live with one stuck to the other side of my wall though...

I assume these are all legit ones though...
 
The story's a little out-of-date apparently, those towers have been known about for years, the US government owns them, and yep, they're used for illegal spying on the people of the free world (allegedly, just incase a lawyer reads that!!! :-rofl2 ), makes tin cans with string between them seem more secure... :-rofl2
