is there any easy way to put monoblock in a diseqc switch, i know there is a diseqc switch for this job its televes used to do a diseqc switch for monoblock think it was 7289, but find them anywhere to buy,

is there any other way to do it?

thanks in advance

I gather an "Uncommitted" DiSEqC switch will do the job; Spaun, I believe do one.

Might be better to replace the Monoblock (6 degree?) with thin Alps LNBs and use standard DiSEqC switches?

I seem to recall that someone managed to use a 2 way splitter / combiner.

Ports 1 and 2 of the splitter were connected to ports 1 and 2 of the diesqc switch then the single output of the splitter was connected to the monoblock LNB.

I think that the disecq repeat was set to 2, to switch the port then the LNB.

I don't know if it would work in every case.

Televes used to do a 2 way splitter / combiner that was advertised to work this way.

ya it is a 6 degree monoblock, at the moment dont wanna replace the setting thats why was thinking something altarnative about diseqc switch, telves used to do that 4.1 diseqc switch which has a monoblock option on the diseqc switch and works like charm, but cant find them anymore

thanks guys for help.

There is a mod I believe by connecting two ports of a DiSEqC switch together for connection to monobloc.
tried it but no signal, can i use one 22KHz switch to do the job??
