I have a quad LNB WITH MY S K Y DISH, WITH 2 OUTPUTS CONNECTED TO MY REGULAR S K Y + BOX AND WITH ANOTHER WIRE COMING IN TO MY HOUSE BUT JUST LYING IDLE.

I ALSO HAVE a monoblock LNB with switch built in connected to my dreambox on another dish

what do I need to connect up the idle s k y wire to my Dreambox so as to have the monoblock and the 28.2e s k y wire all coming into my dreambox.

Many Thanks.

Well, you can't use a standard Monoblock in cascade with another DiSEqC switch, so perhaps your simplest and cheapest option is to use an A/B Isolation Switch.

Connect one input to the Monoblock and the other to the 28E feed.

Then you can select, at the push of a button on the switch, the 13/19E arrangement you already have or just the 28E feed.

There is a way but you would have to ditch the monoblock and replace with 2 single lnbs a feed from each lnb and the third from the sky lnb go into a diseqc 4 way switch and then you configure your dreambor diseqx opt A/B/C/D

You always lose signal quality with monoblock lnb's they are the worst invention ever as you cant skew

It should not be too expensive as lnbs cheap at 6 pounds and the dual lnb holders are as cheap as 12 pounds

Thanks for the Help.

will have a think about it.

A monobloc can be used with a DiSEqC switch - BUT the switch needs to be of the rare (and expensive -around 60 Euro) "option" type (such as the Spaun SUR211) rather than the common "position" type. See here

Yes, uncommitted switch.
