Hi all,

PLease would some one help me on a home installation multi sat system.

I CURRENTLY HAVE A 80 CM TRIAX DISH WITH A MONOBLOCK LNB.

the dish is pointing to astra 19.2 deg and recieving the channels.

Unfortunately i cannot recieve hotbird 13 deg.

Does the dish need to be pointing at hotbird?????

the monoblock is switching as i have had it on 2 astras.

thanks for any help!

For most monoblock LNbs, you need to be focussed on Hotbird, with the right hand LNb as you look from behind the LNB towards the dish in the clamp.

At the moment, if you cover the RH LNB, does the signal to Astra disappear?

Are these monoblock LNBs suitable for all dishes?

What i mean is that the distance between the LNBs differ with dish size or is it just some tradeoff you have to accept?
