More confusion?????

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 3150 and 5200D with standard 60cm dish and Sky quad LNB.
My Location
Dublin, Ireland
Just wondering. Even though my system is set up for Astra 2 @ 22.2e, I seem to be receiving Eurobird stations, as listed by What Satellite anyway. eg, movies for men, Scuzz etc etc. Is this coerrect?
Also, most of the stations are listed as "free" in the on-screen information, but I do not get a signal for them all. Is this right?

Eurobird is in almost in the same place so, yes you will get those. Some of the channels have a weaker signal so you may need to fine tune dish alignment
 
Btw.... the positions are 28.2 and 28.5 :)

Yes, a typo regarding the positions.
Should I re-align to 28.2 for Eurobird as it seems to get all Astra2 plus extra?
Also, on setup, it asks me for a satellite from list, should I put in Eurobird and not Astra, or should I just do a search of Eurobird?

Treat Eurobird and Astra as a single Satellite position.

ie Forget you've got separate lists: If it helps, just rename either of them "UK" and forget the other. Full scan will bring Channels from both - all four actually, as Astra 2 is actually three separate Satellite as well.

For mid-sized dishes in the UK, the 0.3 difference in Azimuth is irrelevant, only becoming important for bigger dishes (where Beamwidth is narrower and alignment needs to be more precise), and for cases where the dish is perhaps aligned a tiny bit to the west of 28.2 ... In the extreme, this could put 28.5 out of the picture ........... If you think this is the case, just shove the dish a tiny bit further East.

BUT you only need one "Satellite" stored in your box. The fact that there are two is irrelevant in your case.

My signal and strenght are both around the 97% mark, so is this good enough to receive all?
