I think they should be more news channels on sky for the UK. I here that ITV news is closing so that will only leave us with 2 channels which is not very good.
 
Al Jazeera are starting an English service early next year, maybe uncle R will pick that up.

Where do you get 2 news channels from? Theres loads more than that!

BBC News 24, CNN, Euronews, Sky news, Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox News, CCTV9, SAW (if you have the right Asian package), NDTV 24x7
 
They don't have much UK news on. Sky News and News 24 do. ITV news is OK but I don't watch it as much as the other 2.

Where did you hear that - I can find no mention of it?

Hopefully they will change their minds.
 
I heard off the grapevine that sky wanted to launch SKY news australia on Sky. Anyone know anything ?

Thats been rumoured for years. Theres never been any concrete info on it. However, it would have a natural home once "Downunder TV" gets on air.

Provided you don't mind heavily censored reports with definite editors bias. (just like the newspapers really)
