Can you one recommend a mosquito repellent that works please.

Dam things keep biting my head and neck.

The best that we've found is called Jungle Formula (or something like that).

We use Autan Tropical.

I'm afraid you won't have to worry much longer where you will get it.

Killer mosquito lurks in Britain
by BEEZY MARSH, Daily Mail

A voracious mosquito which carries a host of deadly diseases is feared to have entered Britain.

The Asian tiger mosquito, which can transmit up to 23 infections - including West Nile virus and dengue fever - is believed to have stowed away in used tyres being shipped from the Far East to this country for retreading.

Can I get at a supermarket or will I need boots or similar?
Asked wife. Sorry, she can't remember. I suspect from a pharmacy but I would try large supermarkets first.

I can't check our current stock as it's all down in France!

Certainly available in Boots. I would get one of those plug in ones, which evaporate some substances to kill the muzzles off. Works quite well.

+1 for Jungle Formula.

Or you can use citronella based products - they work fairly well.

In the garage I use spirals like that IMG_20170618_220531 (Large).webp mosquitoes does not like the smell and simply die without any harm to humans.

I need something I can use on me, that way I just might be able to do some grass cutting.

If its a spray deterrent for use on the body/clothes make sure you get the highest DEET content lawfull one.

DEET - Wikipedia

I use the cactuz brand otc here in norway deet content 20%,,, highest legal deet content allowed.
