Certainly available in Boots. I would get one of those plug in ones, which evaporate some substances to kill the muzzles off. Works quite well.

If its a spray deterrent for use on the body/clothes make sure you get the highest DEET content lawfull one.

I use the cactuz brand otc here in norway deet content 20%,,, highest legal deet content allowed.
Cactuz 20% Deet mot mygg/flått 100 ml | Vitusapotek
Cannot find the english version, but if interested use translation service of your choice.
