I suspect that the dish isn't mounted exactly fore and aft on the motor stub, or you actually didn't align it properly to your South Satellite. Or both.

Those are the only ways I can think of for a small but significant offset like this to arise - and it's borne out by the fact you could get results on DiSEqC 1.2 regardless (cos the offset is accounted for as you find and store positions - only becoming a problem towards the ends of the arc) whereas it diddle work proper in USALS, which critically relies upon a "thick" algorithm that can't take into account physical errors - although you can simulate by altering your stored Longitude by the amount of the offset. That, however, whilst not being good practice, is a handy short term cheat often used after bad storms if the dish has slipped around the mount a little bit and the weather is too inclement to go out and put it right !
