Motor dish + static dish

My Satellite Setup
Dm 800se original
Hi my friends,

I have dm800se running Nemesis.

I have a dish with motor and lnb with 2 outputs, second output goes to kid's room.

When I change the satellite, kids lose their programes.

So I want to install a static dish, and the receiver of the kids is indipendent.

But if I put the lnb with 2 output to static dish, I can get the second to my dm800se

So I ask:

How can I config. via Disecq, on my dm800se a dish with motor and a static dish?

You need to set up two "LNBs" in Tuner Settings in advanced mode. First one will be for the static dish and the second for the motorised. You need to set the appropriate DiSEqC committed command (AA or AB) for each LNB and then set USALS options further down the same screen for the motorised "LNB".

Then assign static LNB to your static satellite and motorised LNB to all of your other satellites. Something like this:

I installed, thanks to the guide above.

But I'm having a problem.

When I switch to the static dish is ok, but when I want to turn back to the motor dish, I have to wait several seconds, and to change channels till the picture came.

I think that the DiSEqC is the problem. Or NOT?
Before I buy a new one, are welcome all suggestions

When you change back to the motor, is the channel selected on the same sat the motorised dish is pointed to or a different one?
It could take that long if the dish has to move (i.e. the dish is pointed at 19.2E and the channel you flick back to is on 13E), or it might just be an oddity with the version of Nemesis you're running

Yes, I get that too with the Uno ... it thinks it needs to move the dish, even though it doesn't. So it waits regardless. It takes about 3-4 seconds to switch...

It might well be the DiSEqC switch, did you buy it locally? Could you take it back and ask them for replacement?

It could be a bug in the software though so if you can rule out the switch by getting a replacement it would narrow it down a bit

TBH I'd have fed the static dish into the switch with the second output from the motorised dish, fed that to the kids tv and left the DM motorised only
You don't need the static dish on the DM anyway as it's connected to the motorised rig that should be able to get the same sat that the static dish it pointing to

Definitely an Enigma2 'feature'. The F15 doesn't do it and switches instantly on the dame set of switches and dishes.

I would recommend a 4 x 2 switch, that way the motorized system can be separated from the fixed system.

Main receiver out to the motor then the switch, other receiver out to the second output of the switch, both LNB's into the switch, that way the second receiver can still see whats up on the primary systems LNB, the same with the primary, it can see whats up on the fixed system.

EMP makes a nice 4 x 2 switch.

I don't get what you mean by this. My Vu+ boxes switch instantly.

Huevos, switch from motorised to fixed is instant. Switching from fixed to motorised flashes up the "motor moving" icon even if the dish is already pointing at the right satellite.

Maybe it's because it is a chain of commands taking time. First the 1.0 command then the motor command. Try Fast DiSEqC in your tuner config.
