Hi guys, I have a Tm6900 with a diseqc 1.2 motor.
Most of the time it works fine, but sometimes when i move the dish from 1W to 7W (for example, but can appen to any satellite) it can't find the signal anymore! At this point i have to go in the menu and retune the satellite.
Also sometimes when i move to a satellite i find that the signal quality has gone down from 70 to 50 %. The solution once again is to retune and save position again.
My feeling is that the motor loses its memory, it forgets where the satellites should be!
My qestion is: Do i have a cheap and nasty motor or the problem lies somewhere else?
Any help would be appreciated before i invest in a new motor.
Thanks,
Marco

What motor is it?

Have you tried switching to USALS if it's supported?

hi..tried to swicth to usals but couldn't find any satellite.
I don't know if my motor supports it or not or if the dish needs some fine tuning?
the motor is a Vizyon which i understand makes motors for motech but with a different label.
thanks,
marco

As said on the other forum, a replacement might be just the cure :D

Technomate Combo 6900 HD

110cm Motorised Dish

I purchased a new TM6900 HD Combo System a few days ago with a diseqc 1.2 motor, and whenever I put it on to a Satellite then move to another one, when I go back the bloody thing needs to be re-tuned again!!!

Also I can't seem to be able to put new frequencies into the receiver, when I try to add a new transponder everything shuts down on me, I'm sorry now that I ever purchased a Technomate System.
