motor set up

hi

i am having prolems setting up my motor.i set the motor on 28.2e with full signal but when i go to another satellite it seems to move the wrong way.

when i go back to 28.2 it moves back to that one no problem.

i can move the dish in the settings of my reciever and it moves the correct way east,east & west,west.i was told that if i set it up one one satellite correctly it will automatically move to the next one selected.what am i doing wrong?thanks

Have you read the guides in our sticky section?

When you say you set up the motor on 28.2 east, had you already setup the USALS in the receiver and sent the motor to 28.2 East?

It is much easier and probably more accurate to setup on your nearest due South satellite see http://www.satellites.co.uk/forums/...rised-dish-installation-downloadable-pdf.html

Worcester having a longitude of 2.2°W, you would need to setup on due South satellite (0.8W) as per the above guides.

Please update your system details as no satellite system doesn't help.
If using a 1224 motor then you need to switch the M1 and M2 motor wires round, are you sure it moved correctly when setting up the limits, using your receiver, did you watch the dish moving?

If you set USALs to a Southern Latitide, it would move the wrong way.
