If I was the driver of that Honda Accord, I'd probably have just tweaked the wheel to the left just to make sure he went for a longer flight...
 
Idiot. but some of us, have all have done similar thing on 4 wheels well I have :(, never no more older and wiser and love life:)
 
Actually the rider was just inexperienced, he could have leant the bike over enough before the apex to keep inside the double whites.

His leathers would have required additional washing though after that lesson, inside and out.

Thankfully No one killed ..and a lesson hopefully well learned ..
..and perhaps the fact that it _was_ captured on camera ..making it available to other risk takers to contemplate is a good thing..

If there is a higher definition version out there is should be no trouble to take a snapshot of the speedo, just in the unlikely event he nudged over the 50 limit.

No need to, Speed=Distance/Time, just get the length of the section of road he was on, and the time it took to get from point A to point B, and there you have the speed, it's how they used to do it before speed cameras... :)
 
Police are not allowed to measure distance retrospectively, but a speedo reading is allowed if on a suitable recording medium.

Ah the good ol' loophole, caught speeding on camera, but as the police did not see it live, it did not happen... :confused
