hello new to site quick question iv got sky uk on sky dish and sky italia on 80cm static dish my question ,:confused: is there any point getting a motorised dish and what receiver is best iv got sd sky italia and sd uk sky receiver
 
If your current needs are satisfied, why change?

But if you have a desire to see stuff other than 28E and 13E, you could motorise your 80cm quite easily.
 
thx i only watch footy and im deaf and no subs so im not really bothered about watching other stuff its half naff anyway enjoy sky italia sometimes no point spending anymore is there cheers for reply
 
It may be worth getting an aftermarket receiver (Basic technomate or similar) for 13e and seeing what else you can pick up if you want to see what's available.

19.2e would be handy to pick up but without a subscription for a decent provider I wouldn't bother going through the expense of motorising.
 
Even before considering buying a motor, the first question is how much of the Clark belt is visible at your intended installation point?

Ideally, you should be able to go from approximately 30 West to 39 East (or maybe even 42 East for Turksat).
 
For subtitles on an Enigma2 based receiver you can download subtitle player and download subs directly from the Internet for most movies.

(I am hard of hearing as well, so rely on subs frequently)
