Motorised dish owners - How often do you change satellites?

Having gone from 10 years with a fixed dish at 42.0e and a second dish at 28.2e for Sky, I now have a motorised setup with a Technomate TM-2300 driving an 80cm dish.

I never really asked such questions before getting it installed but how long roughly should I expect my motor to last before it needs replacing? Do they need regular maintenance checks? I have to admit, I didn't do much research on motors before hand so I don't know how well built the TM-2300 is.

Also, Is changing satellites 4-5 times a day too much?
 
I don't use mine much at all now, aside from occasionally moving it to check satellites reception for customers, or watching the odd FTA football match and the Grand Prix, but my motor's been up for 11 years with no problems, good thing is that they are cheap and easy to replace, should they go wrong.:)

Mine has been up about seven years and not missed a beat....hasn't moved that much since I installed the multi-sat set up though...

I've had mine about 2 weeks and I can't help myself scanning around the arc. I try to only move it 5-6 times a day though. Usually from 42e - 7e and then back to 42 again, stopping by 13e and 19.2 on its way. I just wondered if what I'm doing is overkill.
 
I don't tend to use mine a lot anymore but still move it around.

Need to check to see if I can get 52e as that seems to be of interest due to footy on it.

Wod : getting that on an offset LNB on a 1M Gibertini...
 
My current motorised system has been up for 10 years at this location 90 at the begining then upgraded to 100cm 6 years ago & 7 years at a previous location with a the 90cm dish changed from Stab100 to a Darkmotor for the 100cm Gibby dish several moves every day between 52 east to 30 west to find feeds & compile satellite charts,
There is only one thing better than a motorised system & that is 2 motorised systems :)

There's no doubt about getting it as I've a 1m just whether there is enough clearance before smashing the dish in to my roof tiles.

I was up there today as the cable had come loose broken cable ties but the ladder I have isn't really suitable it's one of them fold up things and wasn't going to risk failing off it.
