I am looking to update my system in the spring.
I want to obtain a Gibertini OP 100L Aluminium dish(1 metre).
Which LNB would you advise I use? I have been looking at the Inverto Black Ultra High Gain and the Invacom SNH 031.I am not sure which one would work best in my location.
I am also considering changing my Stab HH 100 for a TM 2600 motor.
I have been very disapointed with the Stab a week after the installation it developed slack.
Although it is serviceable it is my no means perfect.Thank god I have a TM receiver with a DISEqC Motor View Control button.Excellent when a channel gives a bad signal, pulls it straight back in.
I feel I have just been unlucky on this occasion.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Was it a genuine Stab rotor, or a badged clone ?

A customer of mine had one and I was unimpressed with the amount of backlash from new, wouldn't use one out of choice.

I'm quite happy with the Inverto Black Ultra on my Gibby, there's quite a long neck on it so lots of adjustment to peak the signal. Mine's been mounted on a Motek 2100A for a couple of years, apart from the bracket going very rusty I've had no real problems with it and it is VERY exposed to the elements overlooking the English Channel.

the ultra black also works very well on my gibby 120 . mind you the ultra black works well on any dish ive tried and would recommend it .

the invacom 031 range are also good items , but you would need a feedhorn to match the dish so more costly than an UBlnb. the duals and quads (qdf-031) perform better than the single output .

as for the ultras adjustment i have found its best pulled back ( furthest from the dish ). the ultra seems to have greater edge controll over others ive tried .

I would get the inverto black ultra lnb, very good works good on my cm 1.2.

Motor wise I would get the gibertini polar mount for that dish and use actuator to move it using vbox linked to your receiver.

Many thanks to all members who responded to my request.Looks like the Inverto Black Ultra LNB wins the day.
I would love to have a polar mount set up but unfortunately I do not have sufficient knowledge to carry this out.
Out here I only know of three installers who will carry out rotor motor installs.I was charge 100 euros for the install supplying all my own equipment, and helping the guy and learning at the sametime. They would probably faint if I requested a polar mount install.I have know idea what they would charge to install a polar mount set up. Not sure they would know where to start, they certainly do not advertise the fact. Apologises in advance if there is someone out here who knows how too.I prefer to supply my own equipment, I get what I want at the right price, generally sourced in the UK and brought out for me.The Stab was sourced from Malaga and left for several months before I had it installed.Just my bad luck.
If anybody reading this knows of anybody living out here on the Costa Calida who can carry out this work, please let me know.I actually live 30 minutes inland from St Javier Airport(Murcia Airport).
It would appear that motorised systems (in my area anyway) do not seem to be that popular with the Spanish community.I have lived here for seven years and I have not seen one
to date.Thanks once again everyone.
