My Satellite Setup
Triax SR110
My Location
Flintshire
I currently have a Triax SR110 FTA satellite reciever and a dish with quad LNB. Am i able to put a motorised arm on the dish with the current reciever or do i need a new setup?? Any installers around the Flintshire area want to give me a quote??

You should be able to motorise the dish although if thats the dish you use for the family viewing you might be better off with a separate motorised dish. Then you can watch strange Bulgarian channels whilst the missus watches Eastenders!

Not the best receiver to control a motorised dish it's pretty basic in functionality, but would do the job for starters.

Actually the Triax SR110 receivers are great for motors, it's the receiver I use for FTA setups, certainly far more reliable on dish control than many of the linux receivers. Only had one break on me out of loads.

Did you work out how to add satellites to the list Rolf, that was the main problem I had with it, otherwise it worked OK.

Cheers lads. I've gotten in touch with a few installers for a quote. How much should i be looking at to stick the existing dish on motorised arm and tune it all in??

Does £120 sound a reasonable price for installing motorised arm and setting up??
