Motorized satellite dish with 3 output LNB

I think that the two different receivers are conflicting with each other when trying to control that LNB, I would go with a standard universal LNB, they have some with 4 outputs.

I mean Tuner B on the Edision, the photos you uploaded are for Tuner A, there will be separate settings for Tuner B.

There are LNBs with one Unicable/SCR output and two legacy universal outputs which I think would suit your setup. As the Canal Digital receiver asks for 4 channels it may not work, or have reduced functionality, when used with a universal LNB.

1. In the OS Mio setup (post #21), do the options for "Channel: SatCR 2" start at SatCR0 or SatCR1?
If starting with SatCR0, change your setting from SatCR2, for 1420 Mhz, to SatCR1 and leave 1420 as it is.
Does that bring life again to the OS Mio?


2. Now you have the OSMio set to Unicable/JESS/dCSS/aCSS/a²CSS, your other receiver should be working with the OSMio on, as it did before while the OSMio was OFF. Does it do that?
If not, disable the motor settings on the Mio, and tell us if that improves things.
(Not for the permanent solution, but for the testing.)


3. With all these changes, if needed try to switch off both receivers completely (disconnect power cables), to be sure that the LNB was without power and can reset. Then switch ON again, and test again if things work.

(From the description further on, it doesn't seem this is an LNB that switches to dCSS mode only after receiving a proper dCSS command; it starts up in dCSS?)

(Seeing the chosen former setup of the OSMio, it looks like the opposite:
I think it does start up in legacy mode, and made the OSMio work under legacy conditions.
Switching on the other (twin) receiver then led to switching to Unicable mode, while at the same time the probable 18Volt of the OSMio led to the unability to receive Unicable commands (18V) from the other receiver.
Just a hypothesis, though.)

Tuner B is DVB-T2 and DVB-C.

From menu settings at post #21, set LOF/L to 9750, and LOF/H to 10600.
Leave motor settings OFF, and CatCR2 at 1420.
Other two cables disconnected.

At which program/frequency are you testing, if you have reception?
What is at the bottom of your menu screen, when you scroll down? (pictures of present setting?)

A Quad LNB has 4 separate outputs, a Quattro is for a multi satellite system, like a Hotel, or other, and has Vertical High, Vertical Low, Horizontal High, and Horizontal Low, outputs, so requires more equipment, and cabling.
Your system just requires a Quad LNB.

Yes, Canal Digital work with universal LNB i used that before i get this LNB. But i can't choose that in settings, only in Edision receiver.

So now you have Unicable/JESS/dCSS/.. reception on the OSMio.
Where till now, when I understand right, you had only legacy reception on the OSMio; so that is a step forward (when using a Unicable/JESS/.. LNB ).

Now when you reconnect your other receiver, and then switch it on, what happens to the picture of the OSMio? Is the picture gone immediately? Or is it just that when you change programms, that that does not work?

Does the Edision still work when Diction is set to EN50607?

(It is the same protocol, just umpty more userbands, instead of just 8 userbands. So I would not expect to see any change.
When he uses a userband <=8, then the it would not matter which one he chooses? Or are you expecting a change, by this?)
