MR in force 1122s

I can not get my receiver to recognise my MR cam in either of my spare slots? Any suggestions on how to know if the MR is fu**ed or not??
 
If you have recently flashed it, you may need to try it in another receiver, laptop or CAS interface. What make and model is your receiver?
 
Receiver is Force 1122s. Yes I tried MR1180-MRCrypt Revival TPS Fix 1606 but have gone back to MR1080 by duo labs. Still no joy. I have tried it in my CAS2 everything seems ok but not sure what I'm looking for. Thanks
 
Oops, sorry, must read thread titles. :) :-lmao

You may need to fire it up in another receiver, I have a Nokia that normally does it.

I haven't got another receiver so will try other routes! But while you are hear tell me more about the dreambox ie what you can do with it, what you can get etc. I also read some where that you can use it like and instead of sky+ ? I alsoread that it is based on a pc and has software embedded cams? How does that work? Thanks paul.
ps Is this the way things are going instaed of recievers with spare slots and the need for cams? How easy is it to get hold of updates? Is it better?
 
Had to re write mr1080 twice but now force does recognise the cam now.
