My Satellite Setup

MRB CAM, CAS3, Dish:
60cm to 30W (TwinLNB),
45cm to 13E/19.2E,
100cm with rotor to full visible Clark's Belt (parks at 28.2E, 5E, 1W, 15W)

I'm trying to use a MRB (with Speedy MRB 3.10) in my MVision7000E+, it works, but ...
After switching the receiver off (in the back) and on again, the message "CAM Initializing stays in the screen for some time (long) and disappears when I change channel, but the CAM seems to be undetected when I go to the CAMs menu. Then I eject the CAM and reinsert-it again, now the CAM is detected, the name of the firmware is shown and starts working.

Is this a known behavior?
If not, where is the problem?, in the MRB or in the MVision?
I'm I doing something wrong in the activation of the CAM in the receiver?

Some MVision FCIS 7000 e+ are known to sometimes not detect CAM's. But that even happens with my Nokia. You shouldn't be turning it off and on all the time at the back because you are also cutting of the power to the CAM and everything has to boot up again. Are you using the 2.44 ver. on the MVision?
 
Correct, that's the version I'm using in the MVision.
I'v also changed the provider id's in the internal softcam to avoid some kind of hipothetical collision of work with the MRB.
Another question ...
I'v initially used "9999" to activate the softcam, is there any "code" to deactivate it now (and only use MRB) ?
 
I can check into that. I'll try to post the answer when I know something, or some else might know and post it here.

Update:

Try the "9999" to deactivate on the same menu you activated.
