Hi folks.
I've just purchased a MTI AP8-T2NRC Universal LNB to replace my Technosat univeral attached to my Fracrro Penta 68cm dish.
I hope I have done the right thing (the MTI range are not cheap).
I'm hoping to make some of the weaker signals I get on my small dish a little more stable. On 23E perticualarly, I can get all the weaker signals like BBC Prime for example (55-58% quality), but it breaks up at certain times of the day (usually as it gets dark) and anything below 52% and the signal is gone. But it is often just at the edge.
I appreciate I'll never get the weaker signals rain proof, but if I can just increase the quality by even 1% I could maintain a viewable picture in good weather.
I wonder if anybody has any experience of this LNB. Let me know what you think of them. The spec looks good on paper, but that is nothing like what users will find in the real world.
Please let me have your views on this product!
