Multi LNB question

Hi all :)

I'm having a go at a multi LNB setup on my standard SKY minidish, for the hell of it really.

I'm currently aimed at 28.2E, everything works fine, getting the HD channels too (Win Media Centre and a Compro S350).

The other day I aimed it at a few random places using my cheap signal meter to see what I could find, ended up on Astra 19.2E. As I had strong level and quality readings, thought it would make a good starting point for picking up more sats.

Few questions really.

Firstly, am I correct in assuming that the curve of the mounting bracket for multi LNB's should match the curve of the dish?

Second, I assume that the LNB for 19.2E should be on the right hand side of the 28.2E LNB (looking from rear of dish), and that it should be mounted 9 degrees from the 28.2 LNB?. Am I right, or way off?

Buying a larger dish is on the cards, and mounting that on the top of the roof with several monoblocs (Depending on what sats I find that I like).

Any comments or sugestions welcome. I know the Raven dishes are a bit small for multi LNB's, but I have a habit of not giving up until I get some kind of result:D
 
Focus on 13E and put another LNB next to it for 28E.

The offset LNBs go on the opposite side of the dish, to which way the sat is.

(i.e, 19E on the left in your case, but possibly too close together for a minidish, depending on LNB)

MOnoblocks are only used for two sats next to eachother, for more than two, separate LNBs are normally used. (Monoblocks have a built in diseqc switch, which can't cheaply be cascaded)
 
I guess I got everything backwards :D

I should get my 2nd LNB and deqc switch tomorrow, so fingers crossed, I should figure something out :)

Cheers for the advice, I shall have to have another look into sat positioning, I thought it was degrees FROM east. May explains a few things
