multi satellite card in one pc

hello every one,,, i have four satellite cards,,,3 twinhan and one technisat,, is it possible to all of them to work in the same time...i mean in one pc?
i need to capture from the 4 cards in the same time

and if so..is there any software that can run multiple time like virtualdub but for satellite cards,,,?

In answer to your question I am almost certain the answer is no since a PC would not have enough processing power. You could use a quad output lnb to supply them however the processing power of even a top of the range PC could not cope with four cards at the same time and recording as well

thanks topper,,,anyway i have two processors zeon and the processing is not important all i need is a software with multiple copy,,,like virtual dub ...software can open more than one time,,,is there any software can open more than one time???

I would also have serious doubt as to whether the pc will be capable of powering 4 LNBs.

Not sure that processing power would be an issue if recording FTA channels....I have 1 x DVB-S and 2 x DVB-T and can record 3 programmes simultaneously on a 2.8GHz P4. Power requirements for the LNBs may be an issue, but presumably that could be overcome using a quattro with a powered switch (assuming all channels from the same sat)?

When just recording the processing requirements should not be that high. Most of the processing requirements for an HTPC are for the MPEG2/4 decoding and that's only needed when viewing.
I/O bandwith might become an issue at some time, especially if all those streams are sharing the PCI bus.
So the more of those tuners are PCI Express, the less issues you can expect.

You might want to have a look at mythtv. You could try to set up your box with 4 tuners as master and run different clients when you want to view.
