Hi guys,
I'm going to purchase KSC-N550H2 satellite receiver, which is fit to my requirements for many reasons. To learn more on KSC-550H2, I downloaded the manual from Kaon website. I discovered some possible problem in receiver setup for using single motorized antenna with V-BOX (DiSEqC1.2 positioner) and multiple LNB.
The KSC-550H2 manual provides the following possibilities in the receiver MENU:
1. Fixed anntenna, DiSEqC 1.0 switch for up to 4 multiple LNB handling
2. Motorized antenna with DiSEqC1.2 positioner, no LNB switching support for DiSEqC 1.0 switch.
I found that such a problem can be found in some other receivers like echostar -780, -890, ...
Please, help how such receivers can support both DiSEqC 1.0 and DiSEqC1.2 standards for handling multiple LNB with DiSEqC 1.0 switch installed on motorized antenna with DiSEqC1.2 positioner.
