My Satellite Setup
Eutelsat 5 W B con Gibertini 1.25 m
Astra 28 E con antena de 1.5m
Receptor de satélite Octagon SF 8008 twin. Dreambox Two. Vu+ Duo 4K SE
My Location
Toledo (España)
Between the Edision OS mio and the Octagon SF 8008, which one would you choose for multistream reception?

I think the Octagon SX88+ is excellent but there are so many of these now if you look at WOS. Even my £11 Koqit K1 mini works fine for MS, just can't get the French DD audio
 
Is the SX 88+ better in your opinion than the SF 8008?

The 88+ for MS as you have to manually tune the frequencies for MS with the SF8008 unless there's been a firmware update to fix this. I don't use the 8008 much atm

I still doubt whether to sell the SF 8008 and keep the Edision
 
In my opinion the SX88+Optima is the best one by far it also has a vastly improved remote control unit.

A decent 4K satellite receiver is still on the horizon :cool:
OCTAGON SX88 4K UHD S2+IP Receiver is more stable & easier to use than my Amiko A4K Combo they brought out an Amiko A5K that was supposed to solve the problems of the A4K ?

The OCTAGON SX88 4K UHD S2+IP Receiver has picture stability problems & DiSEqC motor & DiSEqC switching faults that have not been addressed with software upgrades as the firmware is probably the source of the problem the answer is rebuild new version.:eek:

So I will wait before I buy my next UHD Satellite receiver:(

Octagon SX88+ Optima is the best multi-stream in my oponion.
