Evening

Been looking at potentially buying a multiswtch that will take 4 feeds from a Quatro LNB so I can have 16 or however many boxes fired in - quick and simple question, as someone who likes a bit of feed hunting what is this going to do to my db levels?

With a multiswitch it is normally recommended that you use the next size upwards of dish to make up for the inherent signal losses in the multiswitch.

Will the lnb be on a fixed or motorised dish?

Currently quad LNB with one feed going through a vbox to move the fish. 3 other feeds driect to receiver. Finding 4 boxes just not quite cutting it, and as the dish is far away, i can't go to an octo LNB easily without running more cable.

I guess it may be a case of buying one and just seeing what loss there is with a multswitch.
