My new dish motor won't move.

Hi!

I have some troubles at the beginning of this guide. My motor isnt moving at all when I take it for a test run. What to do? Is it possible that my image doesnt support diseqC 1,2? My motor is a vantage dm120. Hope to get some help since I never had a satelite before.
 
Not familiar with that motor, but if you set the motor control to DiSEqC 1.2, can you move it with the East/West button?

You need to firstly make sure that your receiver is set for DiSEqC motor control, then check your connections. Are there supposed to be any indicator lights on the motor and if there are, do any show?

More info required. It's a possibility your not set up on the arc, thus receiving no signal.
 
i have connected it with a satellite-beeper and it is pretty loud. But it doesnt show any signal on the satfinder on my dm800 :/
