Nice - it's also on my shopping list. I hope these don't suffer the same tuner failures like their PCIe counterparts.

And also those light and dark bottles  Can somebody guess are they 0.33 or maybe 0.5 or different? IMG_20151113_180751 (Large).jpg

I do not know why, but spiders like satellite infrastructure very much. Inside this LNB box IMG_20151128_190757 (Custom).jpg IMG_20151128_191058 (Custom).jpg I found a lot of nests and one fat spider was trying to escape but did not as I grabbed him and trow out of the house. After washing everything looks fine IMG_20151128_192213 (Custom).jpg IMG_20151128_192237 (Custom).jpg . I think you all will hear about such an LNB due time, and not only from me. By now I will say- seems that it performs on CM dishes better than IBU. How much better? A lot better! :)

1.8 m CM at SMR 1224 + Elev. with 7 lnb changer Ku (lin - circ) - Ka (lin - circ) C (lin - circ)

Rima , it thought we keep that secret ?
Just kidding , those lnb monsters came with those 1.8 m CM's .
Friday I already started the adjustments for the Clarckbelt and with a old Inverto quad getting 9.6 dB at 11.766 H at Sirius 4.8º E
The position of the lnb in the lnb changer was equal to the standard CM feedarms and holder .
Gone shopping for a new BU single giving me 13.9 dB
Yesterday (at my playground) Rima and I messeured his and mine dish and with the Parabolica programm we find the optimum position of the lnb .
Changed the angle of the SG2100 changer rotor and lowered the main lnb arm untill the laser in the lnb holder hit the calculated spot and the upper and lower distance lines , came together in the lnb trhoat .
Put the BU back with 14.9 dB as result !
Than I put that SMW monster lnb (0.8 dB!!) in the holder with only the Hor / High port connected and see , level up to 20 dB at those 11.766H
Friday I already made a scan with that new BU at Nilesat , found 667 TP , yesterday with that SMW (only the Hor / High port connected) did increase to 1040 TP
Someone at a Dutch board already mentioned that separate lnb's attached to a OMT doing better than universal lnb's .
For me , the BU has beaten by that 0.8 dB SMW , even with that funny feedhorn .
Monday I'm gonna test it with a (proper ?) feedhorn .
Rima , thanks for the joyful day , it was very nice .
Great to help you out with the changer parts .

Just checked this TP on my 1,2m CM and it is more than 15 dB, and it is cloudy and drizzling.

Despite me already owing Rimant a few kegs of beers, if you chaps want to make me a nice set of LNB arms and a rotator for my 1.8m CM, I'd happily pay for it :)

I probably can do something but not everything without help of @Trust1 , but he can make anything and without any external help.

I was out this morning to pick up Fibo dish (please, do not tell my wife  ) The dish was in local add already long time, something like July or so. ScreenHunter_571 Dec. 19 11.06.jpg Pictures were kind of blurred, and now I understand why.... I contacted seller and asked him to send me more picks, but he did not. Anyway, after some bargaining we agreed on the price and I went to his place. And then I discovered that there are no feedarm, no SUB, no feedhorn  . But dish itself, polar-mount and motor are brand new. I mean- never installed and used. Seller said- Look what a big and nice dish! I said- But where is SUB and LNB? He- Perhaps you can find on in the shop! Man, he does not understand what he is talking about! He also mentioned that his hobby is to look for some companies which go to bankrupt and then he buys and sells their stuff, with profit of course.
So, I bargained little bit more and we agreed on smaller price. In addition I've got wall-mount and Positioner box (some part in the box is missing as well, I think that was supposed to be Magnetic Polarizer. So, I am little bit disappointed but no so much.

And same Santa (that one who brought me Diseqc motors) also gave me 75cm plastic dish. I asked him dish without any metal around, anyway I am going to make mount and feedarm myself. Santa said this dish is made at the same factory in PRC where they make Andrew dishes.

Interesting positioner - what can it drive these days? Is it specific for the Fibo motor, which I believe needs a 5v supply for the optical sensor?

I have less subreflectors and feedarms for Fibo 90 dishes than main mirrors. And not all those main mirrors are in perfect shape. But that does not mean I should trow them away. So, decided to experiment little bit with making new feedarm and LNB-holder. Of course that will not be Gregorian type antenna anymore, but simple offset dish. Simple offset dish made of Fibo main mirror and on Fibo polar-mount. Do not forget that mirror is made out of aluminum, means - never rust. And shape can be corrected BTW.
Fedarm will be made of 12mm pipe (material.... you all know ;) ). Lengths of this feedarm I did not calculated yet, instead made it extendable by placing 10mm pipe in the middle. After I find exactly needed length I will make another feedarm from from whole pipe.
That is all just to do something at dark winter evenings.

Simplest feedarm for Fibo 90. Lengths of the 12mm pipe ~600mm
Will install this antenna soon for some tests.

Installed Fibo 90 on the balcony, fitted it with self-made feedarm. Works fine, gives better performance than T90.

Looking good... have been sneaking peeks at a local auto-dealer, who has what looks like a Fibo90 (non-PM) on the roof.
I know most of the dealers do all over internet now, and the dishes are relics of an age-gone-by.
Might pop in next week and ask if I can somehow relieve them of the dish... (not sure what I'd need it for, but, hey!)

...something else I've been wonderin' about.
What happens if your wife wants to have a nice cup of coffee on the balcony in the late morning sun... does she squirm aournd the dishes, or is there a SWMBO-friendly section? :)
