From Andrew I have some parts which will not be used by me. Maybe somebody needs them or have ideas what to do with them? Please advice.

Save it for your next project. I'm sure in about 12 months time you'll be telling us you've found a nice little 6m dish and are wondering how to shift it....

Hi Rima I would keep all of these parts. They are all VERY expensive commercial (not residential) grade products.
Your suspicion is correct. This Andrew 4.6 m was used for both transmit and receive at the same time. i will attempt to explain what some of the parts do.
item in pic 365,383 is an isolator. federal law in north america (and in eurtope also) requires users that transmit to satellites to monitor the transmitter frequency very closely to prevent interference for other channels. this devices allows the high powered output of the transmitter to be measured by a low powered frequency counter.
item in pic 375 is a ultra high stability lna. most uhs lnas use an external reference local oscillator instead of the one bulit into the lna. the top "connector is for the injected l.o. signal and power and alarms. and the bottom "N" style connector is the lna output.
item in 392 is a block converter that converts the c or ku band rx signal down to the l-band signal used by receivers. lnb's have the block converter in the same physical unit. same block converter just an external version. this is used with the lna to make up an lnb.
item in pic381 is flexible waveguide to connect to the antenna since the antenna can move it has to be flexible. this flexible stuff is very low signal loss and able to handle high power from the transmitter. (just like we use flexible rg-6 cable to connect to our smaller dishes for receive only)

Thanks for that! I know for sure that in the future I will not build receiving/transmitting system. And keeping those parts only because they are expensive does not make any sense. I will not make any business by selling them anyway. There was also waveguide switch which I gave to person who needed it. So, if there something interesting personally for you, let me know and you can probably get it.

Did not know that number of my LNBs has grown so much. it is about 60 of them plus 5 in shipping process
And from antennas left only 4 installed: 1,8m Prodelin to 28,2*E, 1,5 PFA turntable, 120cm for 4,8*E-13*E-19,2*E and 90cm for 36*E. Also removed toroidal for maintenance.

Hi!
Got my new LNBs today. Big one, of course, C-band for offset antenna. 2 grey ones are Ku-band for PFA. And 2 black, made out of black ultra for offset antenna, one of them with illumination angle 70* and another one 90*. Will look for spare time and weather to play little bit with those new toys.

There is my new LNB holder, which is out-of-shelf and made of INOX. Good for C-band and, with inserted plastic part, also for Ku-band LNBs. I wish to attach it to my Prodelin antenna.

I hope I measured original feedhorn's flange right and attaching LNB will not be problematic.

OK, I've got 2 offers:
- Fibo 90, for 100 EUR
- Fibo 120, for 275 EUR (seems pricy in comparison other members got theirs, but, maybe it is real antenna's value).
I like big antennas, in that case Fibo 120 should be great toy. Perhaps having both of them is also the way to go.

The Fibo 120 is a wonderful antenna and I wouldn't hesitate paying 275 Euros for one. I was very lucky to get mine for only £50 - but I waited 2 years for it.

Final price for DeltaStar120 was 250 EUR, and got it home today. Condition is perfect in spite of age.

My railway sleeper is still doing its job C/J i have never had to make any adjustments, and my dish is still sat there after 3 days of gales with wind speeds reaching over 80 mph,

Of course, some weight (maybe 100 kilos) will be on top of wood, and, in addition, threaded bars will go to railings of balcony.

Wood is soaked with chemicals and heavy as a stone, do not think it will be influenced by moisture. And I need this stand only for couple of years.

finally installed dish. Today is quiet windy and dish stays in place firm. Later will add more bricks to platform anyway.

I've just scanned all available frequencies from 28,2*E. This is from my T90. Perhaps, it still does not tuned perfectly, I simply do not have enough time to make fine-tuning. Location- Brussels.​
