I want to show my setup which is installed on my apartment balcony.

It's a Channel Master 180cm dish with it's original Channel Master polarmount with 24" actuator.

I had to make a large pedestal so i can get Nilesat line of sight.

Next step is to buy another CM feedhorn to take advantage of the full signal.:-worship

Looks good.

Even with that big steadying bracket I might still worry about the decking though!

Agree with PaulR on all counts.

Thanks.

The floor is made of concrete and big anchors are fastened to the pedestal tower so it's very stable and firm.

Sounds good enough.

Certainly an unusual installation. Although wind is always an enemy with large dishes mounted high up.

Nice setup :)

Thanks, neighbour doesn't like the dish but the property owner can't do anything as the dish is installed within my balcony and not outside.

nice ..where did you get the polar mount from??

From my supplier about 10 years ago.

It's one of the few CM 180 with polarmount in Europe.

lovely setup but 3 questions. 1= Are you Married? 2= when is the divorce? 3= did you not need planning permission?

LOL,,you forgot 4-when are you going to prison....:D

BGPv4, cant be in the uk to get nilesat on a 1.8 as thought you need larger than this to receive.

I dont see what the neighbour complains about as how can he/she cant see much of the dish over the glass building unless its the to right.

I live in northern part of Sweden and get Nilesat great here.

My neighbor have his bedroom above my outside glass veranda.

My wife is tolerant and obeyable.

You don't need planing permisson in Sweden if you don't setup a 6 meter dish in a populated house area. 2 or 3 meter dishes are no problem and if neighbors complain they can't do much.

does the dish wabble a bit when fixed o a sat position?? is it possible to take some clear and close pictures of the polar mount...also if you still have the setup manual will be great too...many thanx in advance m8

Wow, looks massive! What are you using it for? :)
