Here are a couple of pictures, the dish was once used for meteorological stuff, I got a good deal on ebay, changed the LNB and feedhorn, for an Inverto / Invacom combo - which I stuck in a piece of 80mm pipe, and voila. I still need to chop a few trees down for over 30° in each direction. Maybe someone can identify what type of dish this is, it has an f/d of around 0.43.

nice dish, is the lnb Ku band?

It's now Ku, but I think the feedhorn that I took off was 1.7Ghz.

is it with motor?

Yup, and the mounting is pretty well engineered. It came complete with a local control box and has a feedback resistor for sensing the position, I was going to make an indoor control box using switches, a DAC and a coulpe of comparator circuits, but in the short term I've hooked up an old joystick and a DMM for positioning - which I'm happy with.

nice dish, couldnt you mod it for an actuator?
