Eutelsat 10A - 11125MHz, SR: 3255, FEC: 3/4 DVB-S
Earlier I did a blind scan on Eutelsat 10A which brought in a live feed relaying Racing UK on the above frequency using a Dr Hd D15. I copied the parameter details and fed it into the Vu+ Duo2 receiver which also locked on to the signal with the service name GCUK Enc17. At some point after 6pm on the Vu+ receiver I noticed that this feed had now changed to GCUK Enc18 and was relaying At The Races instead, just out of habit I fired up the D15 to see that ATR had also changed on this receiver, but bizarrely it's remained on Racing UK! So the parameters seem to be same but two different services are being received. I can only assume that some sort of PID switching is taking place that one receiver recognises and the other doesn't. But if this isn't the case, then how is it happening?
