I read in a sat magazine this month that the TechniSat DigiCorder S1 (h22p://tinyurl.com/5n27k, h22p://tinyurl.com/5b72x) had a built in NDS-Videoguard cam - however this option was not enabled. I wonder how much work it would take to 'enable' it. I'm not suggesting this would be for anything like hacking NDS, however it could possibly provide a one box solution for receiving $ky & non-$ky transmissions.

Didn't think that the receiver had a card slot, but of course if it has been disabled, then I guess that they wouldn't mention it.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

Theres more than one type of Videoguard system in use, so even if it was enabled, theres only a small chance it will work on UK transmissions using this type of encryption.
