Need a PCI card that supports softcam

Hi

Just wondering what your recommendations are for a cheap DVB-S PCI card that supports softcam. And when I say cheap, I mean cheap. ;) Doesn't have to be HD, doesn't have to be dual, just as plain as it gets.

It's not the pci card that needs to support a softcam emulator. It's the application that you use with it.
Therefore I would look for something like a Skystar 2 on ebay, which can use ProgDVB, DVB Dream, DVBViewer etc., with an associated emulator plugin like vPlug.
 
Ahh, ok. Thanks for clarifying. So I can basically use whatever DVB-S tuner out there, given I have the correct drivers and can use it with those programs?
 
Yes, I mentioned the Skystar as they often come up as a cheapish secondhand item on ebay when the seller is migrating to HD cards.
