Need advice - Rover STC vs Satlook Micro HD

I am choosing between a second hand Rover Master STC from the known auction site and a brand new Satlook Micro HD. They seem to be in the same price range. Both with pros and cons.

I need a meter for personal use (fine-tuning own dish, occasionally helping friends), not professional use. In this regard would probably prefer Satlook as covered by guarantee, providing more features than I realistically need.

What are things to be looked at when buying a second hand Rover? Battery? Calibration? Age?
How reliable can an STC be in the price range 300 pounds (respective age)?

Hi, I'd personally go for the new meter. The Satlook's have a NIT readout, a nice feature if you cannot recognise the spectrum fingerprint. Both meters of this price range won't have extremely fast sweep times but think you'll get better value out of the Micro.

I could see from other posts that you own Satlook. Do Satlook break down often or generally reliable? How are their batteries?
Do Satlook meters have the same accuracy/precision (measuring C/N, MER) as Rover?
 
Batteries are still going strong on mine. I don't have the HD version (only S2 on another meter) but yes, all measurements are available, and I would guess they are just as accurate as any other new spectrum meter.
