Need desperate help with someone attempting to scam me

Hello all,
I've searched for hours for ways to reset the password of my DM-500, the problem is that I cannot access the net as it keeps telling me about addons.xml error.
Someone comes here and does a few simple things to 'renew' subscriptions for a small fee of 100 euro's, but I want to learn how to do that myself (I get a reward from my parent if I succeed). Please anyone! Help me with resetting the DM-500 password, I have no TUXCommander installed, cannot access the net because of an addons.xml error and the DM-500 is password protected.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
 
They aren't attempting to scam you. You are just fool enough to use a commercial card share service. Discussion of which is forbidden on the forum in any form.

€100 an update? You are CRAZY paying that - you would be better off buying your own subscription which guarantees access to your desired service.
