[QUOTE="Channel Hopper, post: 431402, member: 175144"] I've just had the off site lockup broken into (third time in five years). The council are happy to replace the door again, but I am somewhat hacked off with the inability to fit a sunken door stop infront of the up and over door, as I have in the back of the house. Council has suggested linking a remote sensor to the house alarm (I did not tell them I dont have one, which is unfortunately a requirement of my household insurance !), and so I am asking any member with experience in this field, if there is something on the market that protects a house with front/back door, about seven ground floor windows, and can be used to run a remote (wireless ) sensor about 100m away. I dont need it to call the police - not that I would want to upset them on their tea break. Total cost of equipment should be in the £1k region, and something I can fit myself. If I had my own way it would be boiling oil , bear traps and pirahnas in the moat, but in the PC world I live in I would have to pay out the claim should the burglar sue as the insurance cover stops at deterrents Thanks in advance.
