Need help with connection

Hi, i'm quite new to Dreambox and to be honest I don't really know what I'm doing. I have a dreambox 500-S and I can't connect it to internet. My internet connection is ADSL and I'm using a wireless rooter to connect my laptops but the dreambox is directly connected to the rooter via a cable that's why I can't understand why it's not working. Please help me with this, I really appreciate it.
 
1. Does the router show the relevant LED when you plug the dreambox in?
2. Have you configured your network settings on your dreambox?

I think you need to provide a bit more info than "it is not working". Detail exactly what you have done.
