Need help with irdeto cam

I have irdeto access cam on which is written : DVB/MPEG-2 and serial no 901633. My receiver is Humax 5300.

I tried to free this cam using freecam-017 and my computer works with win98. The program gave me an error message. The receiver never succeeded in initializing the cam anymore.

How can I free the cam properly or put it back to its factory settings at least? Can something be done to modify the hardware itself and can I do it myself ?? I don't have reliable service around.

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.
